MDA Goodwill Ambassador
HOWDY!!! Welcome to the Ark - La - Tex!!! My name is Brittany Duncan. I have just been chosen as the Ark - La - Tex MDA Goodwill Ambassador for 2001. My goal is to help educate people about the 40 different neuromuscular diseases that are covered by the Muscular Dystrophy Association. I am also very active in helping with many different fundraising events in our area. I would love to give special thanks to the following area businesses, organizations, and schools for assisting me in helping to raise money for the Ark - La- Tex MDA chapter: EZ Mart Corporation, Texarkana, Texas Fire Dept., Texarkana, Arkansas Fire Dept., Atlanta, Texas Fire Dept., Linden - Kildare CISD, Pleasant Grove ISD, Atlanta ISD, Linden Drug Co., Haaland Family Funeral Home, Sullivan's, Gilbert and Sons, and many others.

The reason I work with MDA is because of the disease that I have ... called Myasthenia Gravis.
I am a fifth grader at the Linden - Kildare Elementary. Please check out our school. I am very proud of our school and community.
I work very closely with the staff at the Ark - La - Tex MDA Chapter in Shreveport, La. They are a wonderful group of ladies who put their whole heart and soul into working with the families in the area that suffer from one of the 40 neuromuscular diseases.
